Metabolic Maintenance's base formula provides therapeutic levels of nine different amino acids blended together to provide an immediate response for the amino acid-deficient patient. This amino base is identical to the base powder we use in metabolic maintenance's custom amino acid formulas. It is bottled in a powder form which allows for flexible dosing. Best if taken on an empty stomach or with a low protein meal. The bio-activating agents alpha ketoglutaric acid and vitamin B-6 (in the form of pyridoxal 5' phosphate) are included for optimal utilization.
