Resvoxitrol fits the role of an antioxidant inducer. Rather than depend solely on the classical antioxidant approach, which relies upon the chemistry of redox reactions (vitamins C, E); the agents within Resvoxitrol work by inducing cellular antioxidant capacity primarily through upregulation of the Nrf2 and related pathways.
